    Goodbye My ZS EV

Yep, absolutely. We've actually decided to go for a hybrid for a few years - probably an Outlander.... I said goodbye to my ZS today, sad face.

Real World Range of MG ZS EV

Well. I bit the bullet. I sold my lovely ZS today for £24.5k. It is only 8 weeks old and I loved it but I have to be realistic and for the moment it is not practical. I've actually not gone for the Kona (I listened to you @Kithmo ) and we are going for a hybrid - probably an Outlander. Just for...

Real World Range of MG ZS EV

I think you're right, I do fluctuate my speed quite a lot and when you settle at around 65-68 on cruise control for an hour it is a marked difference...

Real World Range of MG ZS EV

Of course I'd rather drive for 200-250 miles in a Kona but 175 miles is a lot better than the barely 100 I get from the ZS! West Wales, our furthest destination is 231 miles so I'll only need to charge once on the way in winter and maybe not at all in summer! I'll take that...

Real World Range of MG ZS EV

Wo there guys, easy! I love the MG too, I really wanted it to work out for me. Driving around town I routinely get 3.8-4 M/KWH but as soon as I hit the motorway and there's no traffic i sit at 75-80 and I have setting 1 on the air with neutral temp, running lights and a phone charging. By the...

Real World Range of MG ZS EV

I have to say, I am disappointed with the range. I believed the marketing hype with a pinch of salt and thought I'd get 150 miles. Then I did a motorway run up the M40 to Herefordshire. Had to stop at the instavolt chargers at Banbury with 18 miles remaining! That was a journey of 78 miles - a...

    Goodbye My ZS EV

You're right, research is key. I thought I had done enough but obviously not! Although I haven't been put off EV's at all, in fact the ZS has convinced me that I'm on the right track. I could just do with some more reliable range. Sitting at 65mph is actually not that much of a hardship but it...

    Goodbye My ZS EV

I discovered the same. My favourite place is a bank of fast chargers by Instavolt outside Banbury. It is not a service station so it's quieter and I've never waited for a charger there. @Gomev I did quite a bit of research and found that plenty of people were arguing that they routinely got...

    Goodbye My ZS EV

I feel your pain Popsie! I bought a new ZS at the end of September but I've discovered on a couple of trips to Herefordshire that it just will not be suitable to drive to west Wales (where we go a few times per year) without charging at least twice and I am super nervous about that second charge...

    Poor charging infrastructure

Couldn't agree more. I drove 146 miles from London to Herefordshire a few weeks ago and I'm going again this Saturday. I stopped at three different service stations and found occupied chargers with queues and broken chargers at each services. I find it best to plan ahead and stop at chargers...

    Best public chargers?

    All done. Thanks!

    Best public chargers?

I haven't got the electric juice card no. I would switch to Octopus using your code but it is not a good time to jump suppliers at the mo.... Interesting instavolt referat code there too. I thought Instavolt was purely turn up and flash a debit card? Is there some kind of sign up program that...

    Best public chargers?

I couldn't find a thread about this so could I be so bold as to start one..? Where are the best public chargers within the country? Multiple points, fast, all working, amenities on site, etc etc etc. I drove to Bromyard in Herefordshire the other day and charged here: Instavolt, just outside...

MG ZS EV What range are you getting from a full charge

I drove from west London to Bromyard this week and back of couple of days later. My first long journey! I was nervous.... I charged at an Instavolt (50kw) outside Banbury and at a home charger at destination and the same on the way back. The journey there and back I was getting 3.2 M/KW so...

    16 minutes

I just tried mine on Cazoo. I bought it new three weeks ago using the affinity sheme for NHS workers (to get rid of old stock I am sure) for £23,292. Cazoo have offered me £24,975! I am sorely tempted to flip it and put the cash towards the new model in November. Similarly swayed by the new range.
