It is just light surface rust on the disc's. It would appear on an ICE if not used for a couple of days.

I have this with my MG5. As the brakes are not used much, surface rust develops quickly and when I reverse out of my drive with slight use of the brake it makes an awful noise. If you jump on the brakes now and again it cleans them up.

So they did the washer fix in about 20 minutes. I got home and can't turn off the car just goes between ready green light with HV shut off and orange standby light. I have even tried 10 minutes with the 12v disconnected. Just waiting for the AA now.

When I reverse out of my drive both my 5's make a noise until the disc's are cleaned up. I have seen over 50kW being pulled on my MG5 and few times. It has to be from below 20% SOC and on a hot day so the battery is warm.

I set up my Zap Pay on my Zapmap account as I won some credit. I used three different chargers and it took a few attempts to get the charge started. I think I ended up with 8 pre-authotiation fees. All eventually were refunded so nothing to worry about.

This could be the issue. Don't set any timers let IOG do it thing. Have you got any screen shots of settings and schedule?
