When my car was new to me , I was randomly pushing buttons to switch lights on ..and got connected. Quality was very poor but someone definitely came to my aid..I was mortified and apologised profusely
Yes I'm open to that being the issue but for the last 2 years, that's the way it has been and was fine. Has octopus changed something in early December maybe?
Anyway I will switch off MG schedule tonight and report back
All was working fine with my MG4, Octopus IO, Hypervolt triad, until a couple of months ago. Some nights, i notice it hadnt charged.
Now it never charges
I wait until 11:30 to see what will happen(nothing) , attempt to switch on MG charge (fail) go to octopus to bump charge. Back to MG to check...
This is what I have done. I had a 3 pin installed nearer the car and have been using that on Octopus 22:30-4:30 since September. No plans to do any different as it seems to be working well for me
I have a question. So far i have been happily granny charging when needed 4 hours a night with octopus. With it getting colder/wetter, I was thinking of moving to a dedicated charger.
So from the electrics/safety point of view, it would be preferable.
But my figures on money saving don't seem...
