I don't mind a fee as such, it was the hiding it that annoyed me most, if it had been amazing vaiue I could probably get over that. The negatives were greater than the positives for me.
I don't understand why they have it linked to the dealer, with my Kia I used to switch between my two local dealers depending on which worked best for that service.
In the end the thing that really annoyed me was the admin fee, which I only spotted when the items in the summary didn't match the...
I used to have the Kia service plan because it was great value and you could use it at any dealer.
It seems the MG plan is linked to a dealer rather than being a national plan. The dealer I used last time has changed to Hyundai, so what would happen in that situation?
But you get that if you just pay out of pocket each time.
I did look at the service plan but there didn't seem to be any major saving, and when I had the second service done I paid £50 less than the price quoted on the service plan.
