I frequently use Hill Hold in hilly stop start traffic, makes driving so easy. To pull away you need to press the accelerator pedal very gently initially for a very smooth take off.

Key warning appeared a few times whilst I was out this morning so changed the battery following the simple instructions in the handbook without any problems and car still functioning as it should.

Loading the car up yesterday with the key in my pocket. When I got in the car to drive off a warning flashed up on the screen; low key battery warning. I've never seen this before and it disappeared after a few seconds. I wouldn't think the battery is low as ths car was serviced about 3 months...

Yes exactly the same issue on our 2021 SR MG5, seems worse in colder weather which suggests a dodgy shock absorber or Bush. Will make some enquiries with my favourite dealer when I have time.

That agrees with what I'm getting from my 2021 standard range model on a regular 180 mile motorway/A road drive, fab cars!

Also had our car 2 years and rapidly came to the conclusion that drive mode/KERS setting makes no difference to efficiency. ECO might help stretch the last percentage of battery when running low but the throttle response is so horribly woolly I'd rather resort to my feather light right foot 😁
