We're about 10 days into owning our new MG S5 trophy. The infotainment is having some issues. When taking a call the mic will just cut out at some point where the other person can not hear me. Its also started lagging and freezing and restarting intermittently. Has anyone else had these issues...
update: the issue was a software update issue. What was explained to me was that when the car is bought (I think particularly if it's a showroom car), there needs to be a software update so it's ready for consumer use. The way the updates work is there's a server in Birmingham that the car pings...
I dont think it was, at least, it wasn't obvious. I think they've done that now and said the car should be ready by 3pm so I'll be able to talk to the service person then to see what they did

A member of the senior team said he could get one within a week, and as we were leaving the salesperson we were with said to expect a call sooner rather than later so I anticipated to take delivery this week or next based on that
Received the unfortunate news that the delivery is scheduled for June 26th which wasn’t the expectation set when we bought the car! Sadly I’ve already started the voluntary termination process for the ID.3 so we may need to cancel the order 🥲

Very annoying, ive tried to live chat with Aviva but I'm pretty sure it was either a bot or someone just messaging with canned responses. Will probably have to call them once I know a reg plate (which im hoping is soon).
