Well this post didn't age well.
We now have our VRM issued and 24 hours have past - car to be collected on Saturday.
VRM not recognised by the current insurance company (Hastings) and upon calling them, they said the car cannot be insured.
Running a manual "new customer" search makes me think the car isn't in the database correctly.
Selecting MG Motors as the manufacturer, there is an array of cars to pic from.
MG3 MG4 MG5, etc.
However the S5 is just S5 not MGS5, and proceeds to ask body style, fuel, transmission, etc... and at the end says sorry we can't offer a quote.
Back in May, what info did people need to get around this, and who did they need to speak to?
I'd rather not cancel the current policy and have the hassle of getting refunded and cancellation charges, if it can actually be swapped.
