Disconnecting the negative for 10 minutes did not work. Neither did giving the battery a boost. I also notice that when turned on there’s a rapid clicking sound coming from somewhere well behind the steering wheel.
Says its cable connected when it isn’t (not recognised) + shows a low-voltage battery charging system malfunction warning.
Just happened randomly last night: The car turns on, everything seems fine but it won’t drive and prompts a message that it is plugged in but the connection isn’t recognised...
If so then I think it’s very worrying to me that a bug in the accompanying app could be controling critical functions of the car’s software in this way. Especially when the app is not even in use.
I’ve gone to a fast charge station twice today, both times the car stopped charging at 78% and the app gives the error that the charge port is over heated. I doubt a bug in the app itself is causing the car to stop charging. Find this very odd. Tried putting it in a slower charge but it wouldn’t...
