Follow up - took my car into a local garage. The chap removed the cap from the charger point and made it look easy! The solution I think is that I should eat more porridge! 🤭🤗🤭
I drive an MG ZS Trophg Connect EV. I can see what looks like a cigarette charger point but can’t figure out how to access it. I need to plug in an airpump as my tyres are all low. Anyone know how or even is a real cigarette charging point??

Hi, when I plug in my car to our home charger it looks like it wants to charge then a ‘failed’ message comes up. I took the car to my daughter’s house and it charged ok there. Any thoughts please?
2 months in and I’m still getting the wrong date and yellow warning triangle routinely. However, very strangely, I have randomly had one or two announcements with the correct date. Weird!!!

I’ve checked this idea. When in DAB I checked the settings and they said the correct date, time and year, so I thought it might be fixed, but next day and everyday since it’s back to 2019! Bizarre!

I contacted my MG branch on Wednesday 12 October ‘22 but was told their
Master Technician and Service Manager are unaware of the issue. They said they have emailed MG Technical for help and will let me know what reply they get. When hear anything I’ll update the thread.
I wonder what the issue is? I haven’t yet got a hold of the garage chap to ask. I was hoping someone here might know. It was info from this group that helped me to get my Sat Nav working!
