Yes, it was them, my guess is that they are trying to clear out their stock before the end of the month. Back in October, I achieved a silly discount which makes me wonder who was running the department, but of course I am not complaining.
Just a word of warning to anyone buying an IM5 from Hendy in Poole.
I bought mine at the end of December and have found a fault with the 'car-shaped' key so tried to book it into Hendy who can't do it since their franchise ends at the end of April - hence the give-aways there now for anyone...
Well, just had my LR IM5 for two months and some thoughts.
Mostly good of course with one or two niggles.
Most notable is the vagueness of the steering which was mentioned by a few road testers - not a deal-breaker but just a thought.
Range I have mentioned being low at around 330/340 miles but...
I actually tried it yesterday but it kept asking me move forward/backwards and in the end I gave up and reversed in manually by which time it had woken up and asked if I wanted to self-park, but I had almost finished. I too have a narrow drive between two brick piers (around 18" each side I...
I maybe a little ‘superficial’ but it was the looks of the IM5 that attracted me in the first place when I saw it first in the motoring press in 2025.
Perhaps it isn’t top of the ‘reason-to-buy’ list for most IM drivers. But it was when my wife came home yesterday to report that a postman had...
Thanks LenEV,
It's good to know we're about OK. I have been so looking forward to seeing over 400miles of range.
My old BMWi3 should have been 180 miles but dropped to around 140/150 in winter. Mind you, as a slower driver I did manage to get 220 miles last summer. Does this mean I might even...
With the long-range, it tends to average around 3.0 - 3.8 so far.
Kept in 'comfort' range with 'regen' set to 'standard'. Mostly urban driving with a bit of rural roads but no motorway roads.
When I top up it won't top up beyond 342 miles, which doesn't sound good but it is either:
1) winter
2)...
No, I barely use my phone and it isn't usually in the car.
I must say it's not mentioned in the manual, hence my request for help.
Thanks for the thought though Mike.

Hi everyone,
Each time I start the car, I get a window popping up which asks if I approve terms and conditions (or something like that).
I have always agreed but is there a way of terminating this request?
Thanks in advance.
Mark
Miles,
it may have been mentioned but a battery percentage somewhere prominent on driver's screen would be good. The current mileage is quite small - maybe a little larger?
Thanks
Mark
You are right, Terry.
We too have done about 300 miles. It seems to find it hard to differentiate between 30mph and 50mph. But even then it's a bit random.
