Sounds strange. If you expect it to start playing automatically after power-on, there's a setting to enable this. No idea how to proceed if you press the play button and it doesn't start :poop:

What do you mean by that? You see the radio UI but no sound? What I found (and took me a while to figure it out) is that the radio UI won't show up by default when the phone is connected via Bluetooth. The music UI will display Bluetooth music/Android Auto and you need to use the arrows on top...

A similar thing happened to me while getting out of an underground parking, where the emergency brake was applied way too early, since I had already seen the pedestrian and was moving slowly out.

We faced no issues with iPhone + Apple Watch + wireless CarPlay, tested on another car, though.

A tad late, but I've had some success using the Ottocast mini, which works great both with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Also looking for some type of wireless charging solution for the phone 👀
