    MG4 Owners - Reflections.

MG4 SE LR owner since March. 13k miles so far. Fault wise: Lane keep assist always needs to be turned off as we live on country lanes. Small creak from boot At low speeds. The charging timer and the app are slightly janky but doable. Plus points: Huge value. Great range. Roomy inside. Very...

    The Grand St Bernard pass

Top of the St Bernard pass is about 2400 metres. I think we did < 2 miles per kw on the way up. Then filled up nicely on the way down with regen.

    The Grand St Bernard pass

We just did a trip over the pas de Morgin and the Grand St Bernard pass from France to Aosta in Italy and back again in one day! It fooled the heck out of the MG4 range predictor. At one point with half full battery it was saying we could go 60 miles.

    A Tad Concerned......

We set off near Cambridge, charged at aires de baralle (A26) - ionity. Then the Ibis at Reims Tinqueux gave us a free top up (7kw charger). Last charge at aires de Langres Perrogney - also ionity. Journey finished near Chatel in Haute Savoie. 650 miles. 50ish minutes fast charging in total. We...

    754 miles in 20 hours…

Just luck this time but I think you may be able to reserve it In advance. They keep the charge cards behind the book in desk.

    A Tad Concerned......

10000 miles in on a blue SE long range. Zero issues. Car is efficient and charges much quicker than a Niro EV. 140kw vs about 60-70. We just drove 650 miles to the alps with 2 paid charge stops - we got a bit of a top up for free at our Ibis hotel in Reims as well.

    754 miles in 20 hours…

We just did 650 miles with 2 paid charging stops at about 25-30 mins each. The Ibis hotel in Reims (halfway) gave us a free charge - 40% of the battery. Very accomplished EV.

Charging MG5LR pre FL using CCS in France

We have just driven to the alps, 650 miles. The Electroverse card works on all the motorway service station fast chargers; ionity, engine, fastened etc.

MG4 is a huge leap forward

Our second car is also a beaten up leaf - 2014, 24kw version. Still does 85 miles.

MG4 is a huge leap forward

High praise because Tesla make really good cars. The MG4 also has more then enough power, overtakes are easy with quite startling acceleration.

MG4 is a huge leap forward

We have driven various EVs for the last 6 years. The MG4 is an amazing step forward for a number of reasons. Reasonable price (we paid 28.5 for SE long range). Great size - smallish family hatchback but roomy for passengers. Efficient - we are now regularly getting 5+ m/kw on local journeys. It...

    Delivery soon.

I sold a 7 year old Tesla model S to buy a new MG4. Now, the S is a ‘luxury’ car and was superb but just driven the MG4 to alps and back. Used it to ferry ski’s and passengers every day. Drives great, charges fast and apple/android car play is fine for infotainment. So far a really great smaller...

    Visiting France

We just had the Electroverse (octopus) card and app for our recent France trip. Only used fast chargers but worth taking the type 2 just in case. The electroverse app displays all the chargers it is compatible with. Worked for us on the IONITY, Engie and becharge chargers we used. Nice to get an...

Charging from a granny lead, dangers?🔥🤔

We have charged a Nissan leaf from an outside normal plug socket (in the shed). Using a ‘tough’ lead for several years. No issues.
