I have experienced similar unplanned braking issues because the car reads speed signs for roads connected to the one I am on and not the one I am on, avoid auto control. My Tom Tom sat nav knows speed limits without having to read signs so it is possible do do this without cameras.
I use Tom Tom app on my phone and mirror it via Android Auto which never fails and always knows the speed limit without needing to recognise a sign. It also bongs me for fixed speed cameras and, so I am told, will bong me if I was ever to exceed the speed limit.
I have been hearing a ticking/knocking noise from inside the car, I finally noticed that it is a lot worse if I switch the air conditioning off, it just about vanishes when I switch it back on again.
It sounds a bit like 'pinking' ( I know that it cannot be pinking) and seems to be coming from...
Solar and batteries are too expensive for a trickle charge system that I cannot use during the day and only provides a small amount of my car battery supply via a home battery, do the inverters still need replacing every 10 years or so? For me, it is cheaper and easier to buy green electricity...
I use Tom Tom Go via Android Auto and it works without issue with all speed limits displayed without the need for camera recognition for £20 per annum. It is the best sat nav I have ever used.
One of my MG4 wheel trims 'disappeared' in a garden centre car park whilst we were inside, I had not kerbed my car or collided with anything. I looked to ebay for a new one but those there were all used. Are some people pinching wheel trims only to sell them back on ebay and get a 'good ebayer'...
I have the same issue, the outside temperature reading seems fine but the interior one reads far too high. I hope a software update will subtract an appropriate amount to rectify this issue, it sounds like an easy thing to do.
