Doesn't sound right to me. I've a MG5 trophy too and all doors open without issue. As a test, ensure the doors are unlocked using the lock/unlock button on drivers side. If unlocked pulling any door handle should open the door.
If ok try again but with the doors locked. Listen to see if you...
Yes, I've a facelift trophy.
I was responding to flivoless's post about it starting on mute. My car doesn't do that so wondered if he last listened to something from a different source rather than the radio which, when turning the car back on doesn't immediately reconnect, giving the impression...
My radio turns off when I lock the doors which has taken a bit of getting used to.
However, when I restart the car the radio is not 'muted'. It plays the last radio station I was listening to. Maybe your muting can be because you were listening to something on android auto and it has...
Thank you for the instructions. Just did mine though couldn't get the cable tie tight enough ao not sure I've sorted it long term. Glad I can wash the back window again
My 72FL trophy has this problem. Bought 3 months ago from a dealer. Like above trying to decide whether I should spend 10mins at the weekend sorting it myself, and potentially negating any claim I have if the electrics later play up, or spend a few hours of hassle with the dealer...
That does look good. Been keeping my eye out for updates in this and the cupra ravel. Got the mg5 as a family car which (no offence) isn't the most exciting. Looking forward to getting a 2nd nippier, smaller punchier.
Hi all, posted elsewhere but didn't get a response so hoping for better luck here. Updated the EVCC on my mg5 recently to allow me to use the Tesla chargers. Thank you for everyone's contributions for making it possible.
While I was at it I also tried to update the CCU. It did the software...
My 72 FL has just done this. Did the tesla update yesterday which reset the cumulative statistics. Was showing 305miles from 100%. Only done 30miles or so since then but already down to 280mile at 100%. Hopefully it'll settle down soon.
Thanks for all the effort you guys have put in to create these guides. I posted in another thread I'd managed to get my 72 FL trophy updated 😃
Will doing it SIPPS said that my car CCU config file was newer than the one on the database. I've now got a tick for 'software and cross for config'...
I've managed to update my 72plate FL trophy to work on the Tesla chargers 😃
I'd like to use this post for the following:
Extend my thanks to the folk on this forum for uncovering this problem, finding the solution and documenting it with idiots guides. Very much appreciated.
Give the middle...
Mine is in the post so hoping to be Tesla charger ready next weekend. Not sure yet if I'll move it on or keep in case it's needed for future fault finding but give me a poke in a couple of weeks or so
Has anyone come across this when installing sipps from the google drive? It wants me to select a network adapter, however none are listed. My laptop doesn't have an ethernet port, just USBs and wireless.
I can't complete the software install. Is this likely to be an issue or will it be resolved...
Did you notice any difference when updating the other modules?
I've got an AliExpress order on the way and weighing up how much I update against risk of screwing something up.
Aside from EVCC and being able to use Tesla chargers what was the next biggest thing you noticed?
