hi mickw on the mg4 people have found the securing clips have been different widths and it looks like the mg5 could be the same just measure the distance between the clips and see which car mats fit ,carmats have had issues but it does seem the clips arent all in the same place..

I think mg are now slipping with their prices seen kia nero 2 at £34495 and with the new lr not having sun roof people will deff start to compare who has the better value,thought mg was here to market value for money cars ,looking at the new prices not a great advantage having the trophy lr...

hi grandalfharrow i wonder if using a seat belt buckle extension might help here just plug it in and plug your seat belt into it so when you release your seat belt the extension is left in making the system think you are still buckled up,they are just a few pound to buy..
