Its not so much the weight but the sideways momentum exerted by the load when taking turns and in a crash situation which limits what you can put on the roof. The roof can pretty much support the weight of the car when overturned. Roof tents have a load limit of 150kg while stationary.

One of the common causes of an unstable connection is forgetting to remove the original Bluetooth connection with your phone . The Head unit then gets confused and tries to connect to your phone direct instead of the Carlinkit Bluetooth. .
