Hi Pete - thanks. I've just had 017 done but not 010. Maybe the fuse update was a bodge until the 017 software update became available as the earlier BMS updates seem to have been.

Incorrect - the Zappi is "smart" in that it needs an internet connection which means you need to install the Hub (extra £80 or so), not a smart meter. That means your supplier will eventually have the ability to delay your charge at times of peak demand. Unlikely to matter if you charge...

I've had this a few times and always due to not pressing the brake hard enough, releasing the brake too early (keep it pressed until drive selected and you are ready to move off) or trying to select drive before the ready message. Since getting into the right habits it's not recurred.
