I have an MG5 LR pre-facelift. I also have a generic cycle-carrier (that fitted a Skoda Fabia estate) - straps onto the rear window above the number-plate. i will see if it fits the MG. Does anyone know if this model is designed to carry this accessory?

Just happened. an MG5LR pre-facelift. Not sure the 7kW company, but another car was already charging; the CCS was Instavolt & again another car was charging. I tried two different pillars at each. I have used both these locations before. I occasionally granny-charge at home.

What happens if you drive off with the flap open, and/or the charge-point rubber bung hanging off, & it rains?

MG5 LR is the first automatic car i have had. Apart from the "drive" option, is there a setting i don't know about for driving in icy conditions? Some automatics i saw years ago had a "first gear" setting which the drivers told me was to stop the wheels over-revving on ice.

The problem with the USB Stick is a) you have to save in the right format to be recognised by the car (i have a 2022 MG5), & b) it will only recognise single tracks - which means re-naming every track so you can play a whole album (eg a classical piece in sequential movements) in the right order...

Hello, what advice have you got for charging in the rain? How do you keep your cables dry? How do you stop water getting into the connectors? Do i need to dry everything off before i close the connector cover? i know this can't be a fair-weather-only car, but some official guidance would be useful.
