My advice, hold firm. Lodge a formal complaint to Vanarama in writing. If they pursue you for the charger, decline and take it up with ombudsman. Whilst the issues aren’t directly of Vanarama’s making, I would expect they have a team of Procurement and Legal specialists to review their risk...
