What infotainment software version are you on? R46 brought a lot of much needed fixes including the bluetooth connection and speed sign accuracy.

If you try to update the maps and it fails, do the previous maps still work OK?

Thanks, but this is a work around, not the solution. I have just had an update that was supposed to fix it, but it has not.

UPDATE I have just had an update to the infotainment screen and the problem persists. Has anyone found a solution to the screen blanking. The top and right hand side bars still work, and the cameras still come up ok. Hoping you have some good news Thanks

I may be wrong but think I saw a post about this problem from Austraila, where there is now a bracket of some form being fitted to strengthen the tray. There were pictures. Anyone know about this.

The camera recognition on my Trophy was rubbish, until the infotainment software was updated. From memory the current version is 46

I have the same problem with the screen blanking out, except the top and right hand side. Trophy with R46 (from memory).

The map upgrade costs do annoy me a lot. In Europe they are a free download from the MG website.

I am interested in the screen going blank. Does it happen often? Are you left with the top and right hand sides on the screen illuminated? See the photo for what I mean.

I have an MG4 Trophy that recently had some updates, incuding the infotainment update that made the system feel more refind. The infotainment screen has blanked out a few times with the exception of the top and right hand menus. ( See photo). I am still learning about this but it seems touching...
