MG4 Trophy hot spot

The car hotspot has stopped working since the last infotainment update. It is NOT due to the level of useage as I hardly use it. I have seen other posts about this on the likes of FB and they suggest an update fix is coming, but my dealer was not aware of an update, or even the problem being more than my car. Does anyone have knowedge of an update, and timescales. Thanks.

Yes, and to test it I turned my phones WiFi off, just incase it used that for the link.

What info version has this issue? (So I can avoid it.)

You could try a factory reset or the disconnect 12v option but I am not au fait with the actions you have to take after to regularise the software.

I believe its a problem with the DNS resolver - you can work around it if you need to by editing the DNS settings in the wifi connection of the device that is connected. Workaround details here
