Sounds like the USA too… it’s just so hard nowadays to find a country that doesn’t have blood on its hands.Think he is a Poundland Bond villain but China is every bit as bad, just as questionable politics, marginalising minority ethnic groups, constant threats to invade another sovereign nation and have been declared a national security threat by the government.
And it has been proved that they also have access to our info through there vehicles, pretty much everything computer wise from China is dumping our info back over there. So every bit as bad.
I am not defending one or the other but let's not be hypocrites because we like one car over another.
I guess for Australians buying a Chinese car is less of an obstacle because all our Teslas and Volvos are build there too, so buying a brand from another country doesn’t really make that much of a difference.
I do like buying Made in Australia as much as I can, but realistically all the little nuts and bolts still come out of China.
Edit; I do appreciate that it was Musk with Tesla that showed all the big car manufacturers that electric works, he may have gone off the rails but a lot of people that become famous do.
