Slightly pathetic data limitation - 1GB, MG4 Trophy

its just shoddy service again. It worked really well when I first got the car, when we went on a trip my kids could connect a tablet to the car hotspot - and why wouldn't you, its a feature of the car, nothing said other functions of the car would stop working if you used it. Then a couple of years ago they dropped it to 1GB so the hotspot became pretty pointless - its still there, you can still use it, but you can't depend on it as it could run out at any moment. There is no way of knowing how much data you have used - why no notification when you are nearing the limit etc??
