I have to say since having the XPOWER I was a little disappointed with the range, around 70 miles between 80% down to mid 20%, yes I know it's been cold etc. but I was rarely seeing the consumption going above the 2miles/kWh. But since turning the IBH off it's now reaching above 3, and after...
I only noticed yesterday after reading this thread that the IBH was turned on on my car, strange to see after 2 miles of driving only 40% of my energy consumption was taken up actually driving the car the other 60% was shared between the HVAC and Accessories !!
We went car hunting the weekend for the wife, looked round loads of dealers and how they've changed, these were all in Wolverhampton.
Hyundai is where Volvo used to be
BYD used to be Vauxhall
Chery used to be Hyundai
Looks like all the local Vauxhall dealers have pretty much disappeared...
I have to turn the 'Overspeed Warning' off (via MG Pilot screen) every time I get in the car otherwise it bings/bongs 3 times when you exceed the speed limit, one of the problems is that due to traffic sign recognition being so bad the car thinks the M5 is a 30mph zone !!
I have tried turning...
I'm having bluetooth issues, I connect and then after a day or two it loses connection and won't reconnect, I have to 'unpair' and then 're-pair' which is a bit of a faff, is it worth even contacting the dealers?
I'm currently running SWI33, R32
Pretty much exactly how I am, when I chose the car it was between the Xpower and the Trophy ER (about the same monthly sacrifice cost) and I chose power over range, do I have any regrets? Not yet even when I charge to 80% and only get 120miles of range.
The cold weather has hammered the efficiency of mine, that and a heavy right foot ;) currently charging every other night but hey it's still cheaper than petrol :giggle:
I have to say how impressed I was with how the car performed over the weekend, never got stuck anywhere or even felt like it was struggling, even had to stop twice going uphill with snow/ice on the ground and moved off again no problem.
