I actually went to car glass and they said they can get the windscreen in 24 hours, that they've done loads of MG 4 and some 3s. And they have the software to recalibrate the camera
Hi all,
got a chip in the windscreen, Carglass said in needs replaceing as it's in front of the drivers view.
My question, if Carglass do it, will any future warranty claims to MG be refused if it's something to do with the driver aides and driver assistance ?
There is definately a tilt sensor that sets off the engine on the slightest of inclines, on my car anyway. I can have 6 bars of batterie and the engine will start as I drive up to my house, same place, everyday without fail.
Try rebooting the infotainement system by holding down the "home" button on the dash for over 10 seconds.
My wipers sounded awful, but after a few hundred kms are now silent enough.
The car pings and bongs all the time, don't worry about it, you can lower the volume of most of them on the...
Whatever you do, do not get the software update.
Mine was new in july 2025, has been perfectish, some weird noises now and then from under the bonnet, but it came with the high reving software, something the demo I drove didn't do.
Can you not try someone else's 3 to compare ? Or go to another MG dealer and test drive one ?
In town mine is almost silent up to 30 mph, even with the engine running for the heating. Any faster though and the din starts. Although I do feel it's a lot quieter in winter than in the summer
Hi all,
Does anyone know where the hill sensor is on the car? I'm thinking of tilting it down a bit so it doesn't know I'm going up a slight hill to stop it revving it's nuts off at 20 mph 😁
