Will battery still have charge if I leave my MG4 EV at airport for 2 weeks ?

I left mine with 49% charge for 3 weeks. LFP battery. No noticeable phantom drain.

Which car survey- Mg4 voted unreliable

24k miles in 18 months, been absolutely brilliant. LKA never been an issue at all. Only problem has been the rear undertray warped from delivery and the dealers being certain it’s my fault despite the maintenance release from MG for the issue.

    Tesla Superchargers

V2 and V3 share and also site wide throttling is common when a site is full. Wokingham for example is an older 136kW site and often busy. Recently I was getting only 35kW in my MG4 SE then the car next to me left and I rose to 60kW.

    Paint chip

My blue MG4 has a couple of stone chips, a few stone dents and a scrape on the boot from storm daragh. If only it was a Cybertruck

How to turn off cyberster ev safety feature for good

That’s an excellent point about customisation and Tesla have an advantage with their more nuanced and modern architecture. However core safety features such as AEB are defaulted on despite any customisation. Understandably the safety of a car and its occupants shouldn’t be compromised by...

Running low and need to charge for the first time not at home

There are good reasons for the difference. I recommend the Fully Charged podcast interview with Osprey CEO if you’d like to understand the UK specific challenges. Because it could be a lot better and greed is not the only motive.

MG4 SE vs Long Range - Battery Technology

Yes if charging is more of a challenge then always buy the largest battery you can afford. Personally my energy costs have been significantly cheaper than diesel was previously and despite driving a fair bit further. Tactical use of public charging can keep costs especially low so just do some...

MG4 SE vs Long Range - Battery Technology

Love my SE, 16 months and 22k miles. LFP is basically a rust battery, so if anyone comes at you with “child mining” or “precious metals” you have no need to worry. Also charging to 100% is perfectly reasonable and stress free. Added bonus is the car is 170hp and very quick despite being the...

Running low and need to charge for the first time not at home

My mode has been: 1) Tesla 2) Elecroverse app or GRIDSERVE on offer 3) Whatever is convenient and plentiful Sainsbury’s for example 4) Avoid Shell and InstaVolt But also if you charge mostly at home you need not be over anxious just go somewhere with plentiful chargers if possible.

    New MG4 Owner 😊

Agree 100%, it’s not perfect but better than it was originally. Until FSD we can make do.

    Bad month for solar generation

Given the Sun being being low in the sky and out much less as well as covered by clouds and thick gloom it’s hardly surprising. Thankfully brighter days, weeks and months ahead. East facing 1.4kW array will do a little better then.

MG4 tyre pressures - comfort and economy

The heater and required battery heating hit efficiency. In my SR I get around 3.2 in winter with heating and about 4.5 or so when no heating. But of course heat is often not optional. Given how cheap electricity is I wouldn’t lose sleep over it.
