I had the same problem with an mg dealership, I was told it would be updated as I had sensor problems, the sensor problem I believe was actually from the frost however, they said they did an update but didn't, and when I said to them it was the same version they claimed they "reinstalled" the...
Me too, I keep it in my left pocket, the only time I have almost forgotten my keys was when I gave my keys to my friend to get in my car first and he left them in the console.
Well, I just keep a type 2 cable in as some slower chargers require them so its great to have one in the car but I put it in my frunk as I don't need it often. I also have my V2L adapter in there, stuff like that, so I rarely actually use it. Great for freeing up space in your boot though.
I can once I get the new ones, if I measured my current ones they would work but be slightly stiff, surely the power of the strut hydraulic would effect it too tho.
Old software version which I think is causing problems with the sensors on the back of my car. I also had a big issue with it at the start of December where it actually stopped me from driving it completely too.
I am in a similar situation as they claim its the newest version THEY have but I know its not the newest version for my variant as someone on here as already said.
I did the bonnet one too, harder in my opinion but once you get the hang of it, it isn’t too bad. I would also suggest remove the post you can use to hold the bonnet open afterwards as you no longer need it anyway and my struts were knocking it out of the latch when I opened it.
It is possible to do on your own as I did the first one on my own but its awkward to get a screwdriver under the little plastic latch bits and get the leverage you need while holding the tailgate up. I have to send a video to the manufacturer to get a weaker one as the one I bought is too...
I just did mine, they are extremely easy to do just as you said and although you can do it one person as I did the first one, it's much easier and faster having someone hold the tailgate up while you quickly do it.
