I tried poking bits of wire into the drain hole went in about 30mm then felt like it was solid
Was very reluctant to force any further as you have no idea where any water is going to end up.
When water is lapping at the bung in the charging port while on my home charger it soon makes
you think...
Our MG4 trophy was supplied by them picked car up in march 2023, Had a problem with rain water not draining from the charge port (blocked drain) recently was sorted out very promptly I find
Josh the MG rep a pleasure to deal with . No complaints .
Sorry not had a service yet .
I was on the M4 in Wales a couple of weeks ago (visiting granddaughter) found the welcome break at Sarn (Bridgend) a great site plenty of 150Kv chargers very quiet .
I would look around for a quiet charger that is contactless nip in and have a quick go just a couple of quids worth if you can connect your home charger its no worse its got to be less stressful than driving at 1% ! .
As tsedge says services on the M5 at Exeter have plenty of chargers (very quick plus contactless) there are a bank of chargers at Cornwall services on the A30 at Victoria handy for Padstow .
I have the same concern with leaving for two weeks while away to make the agony worse we use
meet & greet so it will be tricky to explain power down to whoever we hand the car over too ! .
Had our Trophy for 3 weeks delighted with it great drive, comfortable,I found getting the car to
bind a bit of a challenge but that's more me than the car.
First EV very impressed.
