I had a quick squint at todays petrol prices and there is an odd anomaly. One of the two garages in Peebles is suddenly showing 185.9p/l for unleaded. It could be that someone has entered the diesel price by mistake, but it's the same on two different price checker sites. Who may both be copying...
Well done. I'd have done better to wait till February to lock in my price but I didn't know how long the offer would stay open for, so I just went for it in October.
As far as I know, the app will give you the last reading it had before you turned the car off. In any case, you have to drive maybe a quarter of a mile or more before the system will register a change in pressure, so it's not good for spotting a blow-out, or for registering a tyre that went flat...
I have today emailed my installer and we'll see what he says. In the past, though, Givenergy has sorted it out. It's almost certainly a software issue, and I don't see why the installer even needs to be bothered about it.
