ah yeah, haha. I was referring to the manufacturing cost savings since they reduced everything by at least 20% - 30%. which sounds like a big change on statistics but in actual dollars, probably small. absolutely aligned with you as to how I don't understand why they did it in the first place...

yeah, it's rather strange indeed. I don't see how much cost savings it will be for them when it's already a widely produced item though. or just them trying to find ways for owners to buy it through them - quite similar to how they started making the frunk for some of their older models. but...

yeah, the same happens when you're stopped at a traffic light, and a motorbike or another car drives close to you, the blinkers come on too.

ah, the kit I had just has the extension that clips onto the existing rear light so no need to test for anything. all great for lazy DIY-ers. edit: added the photos for referenence.

here are the links, got the TPE floor mats recently too, and they fit well, except for the passenger side which does not have the hook to secure it down but there's the holes there - comes with the boot mat too but that's made for the top later only, and doesn't work well it you move the cover...

I had an add on grille cover to change the looks, and also blackened out the logos. Got these from China via Taobao.

I am looking to swap out the rear wiper, and it's been a total pain. Haven't been able to find anything that fits, and the manufacturer one is way too short - they could have extended it by 1.5 inches to have a proper coverage.

just got to take note that for the screen protector, the ones for China is 15inch whereas outside of CN, it's 12.x inch. had to discard my purchase sadly. still looking out for a matte version for both displays. have also gotten some decorative grills from Taobao, and will see if I can grab...
