I have had a broblem with connection to car most of this week. The app says failed try later and can't get GPS location, I've had the car since April this year and this is the first problem I have had using mg I smart.
I have found that it is easy to hit the slider lighting switch on the left had stalk, this can switch the headlights from auto to off . I have done this when dipping the the main beam headlights. I now try to let the car use the auto headlights dipping.
I also have Camden grey Trophy and done 3500 miles. I haven't had any major problems and find it a great car to drive . I do have a minor annoying fault that when I get the startup greeting it tells me its 2019 but I don't know if the fault is with car or Android auto.
I tried to get Halfords to fit my new dash cam to our mg4, 15 min after dropping the car at the garage they phoned me to say they could not wire it directly in as none of the fuses disconnected when the car is locked?
I ended up just wiring it myself into the power socket in the front.
I have had my MG4 for 3 weeks now and can't believe your talking about the same car. I love everything about the MG4 it's the best handling car I have ever driven and the build quality is great for the price ?
I had a problem with android auto on my Trophy that we picked up last Friday. I found it was a problem with the phone not the car, try cleaning Socket on the phone as it can get clogged with debris from our pockets. I used a plastic tiet to dislodge the debris and have not had any problems since.
We got our Trophy Camden grey on Friday 24 this month, and have loved the driving and feel of the car. I haven't found any problems and think build quality is rather good.?
The car looks great with bigger wheels in black also love the detailing on the side skirts. I'm getting my mg4 in a couple of weeks , I might think of having it done to mine.
