Great, it works pretty well although my software version, R22, has an annoying bug at startup with multiple pop ups saying can’t connect then usually does. Hoping dealer can get upgrade done this week after aborted attempt last week.

I know mgtitan stuff can take a while but just wondering how long from customs clearance in uk to ship to destination? My order cleared customs on the 10th September and seems to be stuck in this stage at the moment.

CarPlay provides voice/messaging so no need to use bluetooth connection in the car as well.

oooh...that sounds like OTA may be on the way or even working, dare you press the update button is the question? Interesting to know your car is R25 - really not sure why mine wasn't. Haven't heard back yet so I hope the patch has worked.

I spoke with the service manager this morning, my vehicle has been updated on all modules that were available but still did not show R25 for the Infotainment. He received a patch file from MG, it seems they tightly control what is given to dealers particularly patches vs what the system shows...

No they were very vague...I will be calling them again shortly to find out what's going on. If they are vague again I will ask to speak to Workshop Manager.

Check your tyre pressures. Mine came at 43psi all round and should have been 37, once reduced it was much better although I agree it's a firm ride.

Well, update from dealer tonight. They have had to put a call into MG and could I keep the courtesy car until Thursday or possibly Friday! Doesn’t sound good to me. The car in the meantime is no longer responding to MGSmart requests.

Mine is in the dealer today and tomorrow being updated with all available updates I have been told. Will feedback what they say when I collect it tomorrow. I hope at least the infotainment gets R25 from R22 and it fixes apple car play connection issues. I also hope they manage to find an update...

Yes I would but as I also have a weather app on my phone I may avoid plugging in if forecast. As someone who has seen what a lightning strike can do to electrics in a house I wouldn't take the risk personally.

I am not sure what is going on here but I have never used anything in 6 years of owning an EV. Just plug it in the design is meant to be waterproof and is safe to use in rain. Thunderstorms ....mmm...personally I wouldn't leave my car plugged in during a storm just in case!

A bit frightening that you got no BMS warning on the dash for what sounds like an expanded cell pack. Hopefully it's a one off and we don't start seeing more on this 3rd generation battery as they call it.
