MG4 wheel swap efficiency hit tested

In this case, the new rims are heavy ones. But I'm thinking about what would happened if the new 19" rim were a "light" 9kg one like superliggera or Similar, and not a 12kg model like this. The change in the surface in contact with track would be higher but not the weight.

    Heating problem

Yes, you are right. Dealers are.... dealers. They paint the picture beautiful but the car has a lot of problems that they know nowadays. They are selling cars. The problem is with the service after it. They don't know how to solve nothing.

It's incredible that more than one year after, MG is not solving this problem. Is it that difficult?

    Heating problem

Hi. I have a MG4 from July 23, but 22 model. I bought it "0 miles" from dealer few weeks ago and definitely the heat pump has the problem you talk about. I've to set it to 27 degrees to receive some hot air. It's incredible. Do you know how are dealers solving this issue? Thanks.

Changing rims wheels for a lighter model.

Going back to the consumption thing, It has to be important and noticiable, when Tesla for example shows different consumptions with different rims. As I said, it is not only his weight directly in the total of the car. The wheels affects a lot. Then, @Kithmo, it's not as easy, it affects way...

Changing rims wheels for a lighter model.

You are thinking about general weight and the direct relation between them. But it doesn't work like that. Unsuspended weight affect x4, even more if we take the inertia, were experts are talking about x10 its weight. It's why track cars needs those rims. And @olliewebb , I don't know the...

Changing rims wheels for a lighter model.

There are not enough spec options in the trim levels offered by MG to cover the preference of the people in a good way. I think I'm right in that. Luxury is a enough car to deserve a best look wheels.

Changing rims wheels for a lighter model.

It is also a question of look. Maybe some people here has interest in have a MG4 with a Sporty aspect. If it could be also an improvement and not a penalty, I can't see the problem.

Changing rims wheels for a lighter model.

I don't care about behaviour of car but efficiency. This kind of weight in the wheels affect as 10 times the same weight in the car body. Not only the weight itself but inercia movements and so... I don't know how much affect this kind of aeroplates covering the rims but I suposse not so much...
