MG4 Standard tyres are seriously dangerous!

I swapped mine over from the originals to CrossClimate 2’s after 1000 miles now I’m up to nearly 5000 miles and haven’t looked back since. I changed mine for the exact same reason as you will find from doing a bit of research that tyres made in China are not the same as tyres made in the EU

MG4 Standard tyres are seriously dangerous!

CrossClimate 2's fitted to mine as well!!! Totally agree with you as they are so much better than the original OEM tyres.

    MG4 XPOWER

Trust me Mennox if you upgrade all your speakers with the improved sound quality you will be out for more than an hours ride 😎 Sometimes on the way back from work I decide to take a slight detour just to experience that sport mode for a little while longer.

Range decrease due to cold weather [merged thread]

Mine currently comes up at around 189 at 100% which is very accurate in these winter conditions with the temp set to 21 and the occasionally traffic light pull off :giggle:

    Positive Vibes for the MG4

Hi Adiel, You mentioned that your foot rest failed on you well this happened to mine after just 800 miles of owning mine and it has been nearly 2 months now with still no reply from MG if this is covered under their warranty or not? I've even started a separate post about failing foot rests as...

MG4 tyre pressures - comfort and economy

I put 36 PSI all round but that is on all my cross climate 2 tyres. My original Bridgestone tyres were inflated all to 37 PSI

Not sure MG4 X Power good idea

Back when I was 17 that so call tank cost me over £1000 to insure and that was only TPFT with just around 60bhp so can't imagine how much it would have cost back then to insure something with around the same power as the X Power :giggle:

Not sure MG4 X Power good idea

Well there is one thing for sure and that's my Power is certainly a lot safer to drive both for the driver and especially for pedestrians than the Austin Allegro I used to drive many years ago! It was like driving a tank and remember one day only ' very ' slightly touching an XR4i with my...

    Already broken

It will be interesting to see what your local MG dealership says about it. I've been waiting over a month now and as yet still not heard anything back from them. (Apart from the usual 'That is very strange as we haven't heard that happening to anyone else.') It started with a squeaking noise on...

MG4 X Power tyre change for the vibration issue

Sounds like a really great idea (y)

    Already broken

Totally agree with you. The only advantage is now that I can stretch my leg on a long journey that I couldn’t do before. Compared to German cars the footrest is certainly higher on the MG and I’m going to look into maybe a more lower version of it. I think I’ve seen someone else who has...

    Already broken

Anyone else experienced a problem with their footrest? It has been nearly 6 weeks now without any footrest and I'm still awaiting too hear back from the main dealer if the part is covered under warranty or not.
