My iSmart stopped functioning, could not get it to function, so decided to uninstall/reinstall. However doing so, required binding as per app, however iSmart/MG maintained already bound. Cut long story short, spoke with a dealer, apparently they'd been a s/w update which hadn't gone to plan...

Update to my previous post. Car checked by dealer and as previously indicted by others, no problems found. They have asked that I keep a log of any warning messages on displays and keep an eye battery state. Did state that the chances are it will happen again, maybe one,two, five,ten days, weeks...

Had almost exactly same problem..car 6 wks old 13 hundred on clock..had problems with radio cutting in/out..left unused 2 days battery state 73%..LV battery @ 3v..AA got me going..no probs since..battery currently showing 12.9v ...radio (dab) working much better...booked in for check this...

Nice to know Halfords will do a check for free. Journeys no different than with ICE car, and lets be honest, shouldn't have a battery problem with a two month old vehicle. So MG dealer can sort but thanks anyways.

Have a 10 week old ZS LR Trophy. Week 7ish, after not using 2 days & with 73% SoC, encountered same problem. Not technical so called MG Assist, AA there within 20 mins, 12v battery checked, showed 3v. Battery given enough charge to allow systems to engage, SoC showed 73%. Hours drive and, touch...

But have just found cheaper to buy from meerkat than direct from LV

Did yours come with sunroof, if not what was outcome? Believe also the Vehicle Load Charging function has also been dropped In a similar position regarding order and sunroof. Are you in receipt of your car yet and if so, what happened about sunroof if I may ask?
