Okay - called to query. They have now confirmed £34.20 online price for low mileage 1st service. Booking online is also apparently around £20 cheaper than calling to book for that service. Worth keeping in mind for the future.

That's interesting. Was that recently? I just went to book my MG 5 in for its first service at MG Guildford. Online it quotes £34.20. When I called the service cost was quoted as £146.05! I mentioned that it was low mileage (6k) so I was quite shocked.

Recall letter arrived here today too. It will be interesting to see what changes will be implemented in the update.

I’m thinking of fitting LED lamps as well. If you don’t mind me asking, which ones did you go for?

Just to note that when I returned to the car it was back to normal. I presume being switched off for several hours might have been sufficient for the system to then essentially reboot.

I had my first blank screen this morning after 3 months of uneventful MG5 motoring. It happened just as I was about to reverse into a parking space. I noticed that the usual screen disappeared as usual but rather than the reversing camera appearing, the screen went blank apart from the top line...

My MG5 is a couple of months old now and only very recently have I needed to use the heater. When it comes on there seems to be a smell which is rather like a faint burning smell. I assume this may be because it is a relatively new heater but wanted check if anyone else has noticed anything...

I bought the PTFE one. I’m not sure how much it matters though.
