    Cyberster Dashcam Success

I won't unplug it again, but here more explanation. In the first photo, you'll see the lights module with two silver clamps facing to the mirror. Place a plastic tool there or just draw it gently down. Second photo shows the plastic cover at the mirror. Just level it from the hole. Both are...

    Cyberster Dashcam Success

I installed my dashcam and used the power from the ceiling light module. This is really nearby and delivers 12V while the car is switched on. My dashcam runs on 12V. If the uses device runs on USB, a current adapter is needed. I documented it on my website at skyynet.de/cyberster in German but...

    Cyberster Dashcam Success

My Blackvue DR900S has a 12V power input. Thus, the Cable is really basic. I just cut the cigarette lighter cable and soldered it to 12V in the car. Since I really like the camera since it's small, great quality, HDR (not supported by current Blyckvue cameras) I'll continue using it in my...

    Dashcams

In Germany, it's even forbidden to permanently record while driving. The privacy laws are very strict here. So yes, I would only record while driving. I assume the Cyberster only provides power for the ceiling lights, when the car is in use (can't write "engine turned on"). I simply don't want...

    Dashcams

Though I have to wait for my Cyberster to be delivered, I installed my BlackVue dashcam in my current convertible and connected it to the ceiling lights. This powers the dashcam when the car is in use. It was quite easy and the distance very small. I intend to do this the same way in my Cyberster.

    Rescue-Sticker

Though I'm still waiting for my Cyberster to be delivered in October, I already prepare a bit. Thus, I also printed a rescue-sticker, which gives information to firefighters how to best open the car in emergency. While this is not standardized, Mercedes-Benz e.g. installs it in the gas flap of...
