Unfortunately the IM5 doesn't have any buttons either, although it does have a couple of stalks - one for indicators etc and I believe the other is for cruise control functions.
Where did you see that the MBUK IM5 will be "stripped out"? Would honestly like to know, as the IM5 is on my list of cars to replace my existing vehicle.

Indeed they do, at the moment mainly for the MG4 (Mulan) and the ZS. I have the front black one (cover type) on mine ;). Not sure I'd bother with them on the IM5 but if the car suits them and they are for sale, I probably would get sill protectors.

What a bad tempered review! He obviously went into that "test" with an "I hate Chinese electric cars" attitude from the start! How come he's the only one to find fault with the ride quality? Sensitive backside I wonder? I want a test drive even more now!
