So essentially I just have to expect regen to sometimes not kick in in colder weather?

My journeys are always 21 miles. Excuse my ignorance but does the mk1 have an option to preheat the battery? It doesn't have app functionality or anything so I can only assume any preheat is automatic?

I have a mk1 MG ZS EV, bought in July. All through the last 5 months the regen, whilst in 3, slows the car and I see the needle go into the charging section of the dial. Now, I know when the battery is full, a message pops up saying regen won't work and to use the brakes, which makes total...

So thought I'd provide an update for anyone with similar issues. Seems that because of all the errors, the HV batteries were disabled, the start/stop button too. So the solution was to disconnect the battery completely and recharge it independently. Once I hikked it back up with a full charge...

Yeah, tried it both ways. Will give it another go when the battery has some charge.

This seems to be part of the issue. When the car turns on, it doesn't go to ready mode. I pressed the start stop button and nothing happens other than the power tunring off.

I have disconnected the battery and am currently charging it with the booster. Hopefully it takes a charge and all will be normal. I have very little faith at this point!

This is the problem I come up against... Booster has full charge. Attach to car. Turn on ignition (Start is green). Disconnect booster. Car shuts off immediately. If I leave the booster attached and wait, 5 mins or so, all the errors start coming including HV battery shutdown and the start/stop...

Is it likely if it's been perfectly healthy until this moment?

So I picked up my mk1 ZS EV and am enjoying it. The mk2 'dials' are really modern, being all screen, but can these be retrofitted to the mk1? Are the plugs the same as it does look like it in photos? Are the densions the same? Curious more than anything since the Astra K can be upgraded with...

That's what I would be interested to know. With the Vauxhall, the same info was sent via the plug, it was just displayed digitally instead of analogue dials. I can't rember if the computer needed a software update though.

It's hard to tell. Google seems to thing it has gprs but I can't find a qr code or serial number on the charger that I can link. And there's no options on the machine for connecting. So I will say dumb?
