I had a similar issue with Glyn Hopkin MK. It took weeks, and 2 return trips to the dealership to get it rectified. I will definitely get it checked on the spot when the car is next serviced.

I am sure that in a podcast some time ago, Miles Roberts said that MG technicians needed to identify specific modules individually to update them? There were 5 mentioned, which I listed on the form when I had my ZS serviced. I have no idea whether they were all done as requested - the V2L works...

@siteguru Not sure about other tariffs, but on my Octopus Go, there is no longer a loading on the day time rate to compensate for the 9p 12.30 - 04.30 one. I do still run my power hungry appliances overnight, whenever practicable though.

Zapmap shows that there are Tesla Public Superchargers at Barton Hall Hotel, (listed as Kettering), and also one at Luton Retail Park. So, perhaps the Tesla app is correctly showing me that I could use the one at Kettering after all. It’s just confusing because neither of those locations are...

Thank you for your reply, and yes, I can do that, but it just shows the nearest Tesla charger, which is not open for non-Teslas. When I look online, I see a screenshot of a page with ‘charge my non-Tesla’. I can’t find that on my app 😞

All the information I can get online about using the app states “click on ‘charging’, then click on ‘charge my non-Tesla’” I have the latest version of the app, but I don’t have a button that says that……. Am I being stupid? This is the first page of the app

It was from aliexpress - sorry, I don’t remember the company name. It was marketed as ‘plug and play’ and the connections were very simple. The very time consuming part of the installation was running the wiring through.

I can confirm that it does open the boot - I had a powered tailgate installed.

I have been super super careful with my charge flap after hearing what others have been quoted for replacement. However, it doesn’t strike me as being ‘fit for purpose’, so maybe worth trying to claim on the warranty?

@Eclectic - I think that will look very smart. I much prefer the look of the shark fin to the whip aerial. Warming the 3m and the area around the aerial base with a hairdryer works well when the weather is cold, but I am sure you know that anyway!!
