I preferred it when they were more sensitive as they used to turn on when overcast/raining. Of course now I turn them on manually, except sometimes I forget to turn them off again and the car doesn't warn you when you exit. A few times I've returned to my car parked up with the lights on.
If...
Yes they all have it, but in my opinion it is rubbish. I used it all of the time in my old car but had to disable it on the MG, often too slow to react and awkward to disable and enable as needed.
Had my first service and asked for software updates due to issues with Android Auto, was hoping to get R59 or at least R46 but they refused to update it at all, claiming it could brick the head unit and I would be without the car for weeks. I will have to find another dealing more willing to...
I've done this a couple of times too, switched to sidelights when parked to reduce glare, and then forgotten to turn them back on.
I assume you specifically mean when switching the automatic lights fully off, only the front DRL remains on. But you certainly can switch to sidelights by selecting...
No the wheels didn't slip at all. Mine is the phase 1 with 215 tyres so would be even more grippy with the 235 (I think?) tyres on the phase 2.
It's almost like they've tuned it as if it was FWD to ease the power in. I think sport mode at least should allow a harder launch.
I've always found the initial launch a bit disappointing.
I've tested launch control with traction control on and off - makes no difference. Car does 0-60 in 7.3 seconds every time.
Here's the times I got up to 60
0-10 - 1.18
0-20 - 2.21
0-30 - 3.35
0-40 - 4.45
0-50 - 5.68
0-60 - 7.28
So...
In that case you can test if it's the radar or the mirror by parking on street and slightly opening the corresponding door (carefully obviously). As traffic passes it will give an audible warning if the radar is working.
I believe it uses the ultrasonic sensors in the rear bumper so if your parking sensors are working properly, it's probably a fault with the LED in the mirror. Don't know if this would be replaceable or if a whole new mirror would be required.
Maybe the behaviour has changed slightly but it's always done this. The faster you drive the shorter the interval gets. It also does an additional wipe when you pass certain speed thresholds - I've noticed it when you start moving from a standstill, then at about 10 mph, then again at 30 mph.
The change to the ACC controls sounds great, hopefully this makes its way to the Trophy in the next update if not already on R46.
Can I ask how do you enable the speed limiter? In your photo there is only ACC and TJA, I also have a speed limiter option.
Edit: For reference this is now enabled...
Fair enough, my post can sort of be ignored then unless the 5 star NCAP requirements are identical (I can't really find anything about this from a quick search).
I'm not sure how 'sequence' is defined, I assumed buried multiple layers into a menu somewhere but perhaps a voice command is good...
AEB and LKA are EU regulations required for cars since July 2022, so not just a Euro NCAP thing anymore. Here's what the regulations say:
Advanced emergency braking systems and emergency lane-keeping systems shall meet the following requirements in particular:
(a) it shall only be possible to...
