None of it's body is missing yet, well, except for the white plastic cover on the charging door, but it is still in the car .... somewhere ..... .... but I'll keep that excellent tip in mind, it might work for the other two MG4's in the yard  T1 Terry

The MG4 51 is on its third rinse cycle, should I sprinkle some soap powered on the roof between rain burst? Or just some wash and wax and let nature do the rest? T1 Terry

Our workshop in Mannum was originally owned by Jerry Kooistra who built some amazing classic race bikes Jerry Kooistra – MotoVue and the Matchless 500 single based bike Bill Horseman raced at the Isle of Mann TT to come second ...... which annoyed Jerry so much he never returned to compete ...

Two approaches to solar install. Thoughts appreciated!

On the first video, unless you live somewhere the panels will never see a lot of hot direct sunlight any time of the yr, forget about bi facial panels and microinverters. Bifacial panels rely on light reflection from the underside to catch the solar that passed through the panel and gets...

The naming of cars...... Have you?

Back in the Illawarra, before we moved to WA, the neighbour sold his house and rebuilt a motorhome and called it Flicity, Flick the city he later explained, but he named all his vehicles, might have been his ancestorial Scottish blood or something ...... The bright red hair and the ability to...

    %, miles or both?

In the ICE vehicle, 1/4 tank on the gauge didn't trigger a panic or even concern, yet 25% SOC remaining looks like you'll be walking and carrying sparks back in a bucket, or worse, having a tilt tray come and rescue with all the embarrassment and cost involved ..... Change the mind set and if...

That one that carries both front wheels in two gears, incredible power and driveline ..... I've watched a few rather over weight freezer trailers being dragged by long nose Kenworths dangle the left front tyre and carry it for two gears, but never both front wheels T1 Terry

Urban grunge comes to mind, or car park camouflage, they don't park too close or key the paintwork if it isn't shiny .... and think twice about cutting you off, you might be looking for a new car or at least a full respray because they can't match the colour ....... T1 Terry

What's the weather like over your way

It's not raining from the sky at the moment, more from the air ..... the humidity is up around the levels I remember from a Christmas on the Gold Coast Qld, you could have a cold shower, but you couldn't get dry without air conditioning to pull the water out of the air ...... our rooftop rattler...

A member of the Adelaide AEVA branch has just had his V2G fully certified at the real work model, not a test case where short term readings and effects were measured. Keeping track of my MG4 (efficiency)

The DC fast charging would have pushed the cost per 100kms up, but good to see it spread out over a yr to see it balances out well, even at $5.45/100kms equals around 3ltr/100kms at the prices around here at the moment, but we have seen times when that would be closer to requiring 2ltr/100kms to...

    MG4 X Power Vibe/Hum 65 to 75mph

I can't understand why you would want to cart around 800kms of battery capacity, if you weren't going to use that sort of range in a single trip. The MG4 51 gets us from Mannum to Adelaide and back on a single charge and that is fine for local range, but on a trip, 400kms cruising at 110km/h...
