I own a 2022 facelift in the same colour. No rust anywhere, I always check when washing. I have stone chips on the bonnet and front bumper, but no rust is forming. I would get those looked at and repaired; they will only get worse and blister more.

Had my 3rd service mid December 2025 on my FL 5, and I had the update applied. They knew about it before I arrived for the service, and said the system flagged my car for the update. I haven't noticed anything different afterwards.

Has anyone found the bonnet and rear black badge covers for FL 5. I've had a look online and can't find anything. Thanks

That tape won't protect anything. It will trap moisture and cause rot. You would be better off spraying the seam with Bilthamber Dynax UC, which has rust inhibitors built in.

Love my Trophy 5. Much better car the my Exclusive 5 for me. I removed the foot rest, you have to cut round it through the carpet it's a solid foam wedge. I bought a large aluminium footrest cover and used no nails to stick it over the cut out, looks fine and factory. So much better without.

My 5 Trophy was purchased in December 2022 and I have had no problems at all 6000 miles on the clock. so not high mileage. I hope it's sorted out soon.

My repair required a complete new bumper. Which was ordered through MG parts department.
