I've also wondered if they serve a purpose. For example, some sort of aerodynamic function to aid air flow from the front air intakes into the front wheel arch?
The model breakdown is interesting. In Q3 (press/marketing), 90% were GT models, but Q4 (our cars), 75% were GT models. Totals to end of 2024 were 332 in total, with 264 GT and 68 Trophy.
12V should charge okay, but only if NOT plugged in. Manual states:
Intelligent Charging
When the vehicle is powered OFF and the system detects that the 12V battery is running low, the vehicle will automatically charge the 12V battery under certain conditions to ensure the vehicle starts. This...
It's a setting on the lower centre screen (next to gear selection), on the same page where you can change the maximum opening of the door. There are two settings to disable tilt and motion detection.
Still not seen another in the wild yet. Although today on a day trip across to Ullapool we did get flashed by 3 Porsche drivers. I guess they don't know what a Cyberster is ;)
The Cyberster is much closer in size to a Porsche - Boxster or recent 911.
Similar situation here. We had a Pod Point installed for our first EV, a Fiat 500E Cabrio, then when we changed to a Renault Megane eTech I ran the cable in a protector under the car.
The WLTP test cycle has an overall average speed of only 33mph, with no heating on, over 4 phases with average speeds of:
Low: 16mph
Medium: 28mph
High: 38mph
Extra High: 59mph
Normal driving at speeds of around 50-70mph in cold conditions will never get anywhere near the WLTP range.
Only...
Where? Euan, can you please post a photo of this please. I can't see a flat surface on the dashboard where a wireless charger would even fit. I asked my dealer, who said wireless charging isn't available even as an option on the Cyberster.
How is this 3.6 measured? The GT's WLTP range is only 276 miles, so 3.7 mi/kWh. To achieve a real-world consumption of 3.6 seems miraculous.
I ask because there is significant discrepancy between the various displays of mi/kWh and remaining range on the Cyberster. The only reliable way to...
Trophy model, not GT, but I'm getting 3.0 mi/kWh from the battery, with 12.5% charging losses from AC charging at home, so 2.6 mi/kWh of electricity paid for, equating to 8.95p per mile.
In the APP, click on the Battery section, and then in the SETTINGS (top right icon) you can set the target battery level. Or in the car, on the right-hand screen in the charging section,
