    Dashcam installation and recommendations.

Hello, Looking at getting a front and rear dashcam, maybe one to view inside the cab as well. Does anyone have a recommendation, or better still, an idea how to fit one? The front one should be easy enough to fit, but the back one may not be so easy. VIOFO A229 Pro Series 2 or 3 channel is at...

    Heating not working

No, it was the first thing I checked. I'd seen some videos on YouTube that mentioned that it wouldn't work in eco mode. I'll try it again in the morning, I believe that I can preheat the car before getting in it, we'll see if it works.

    Heating not working

2023, and is up to date, just serviced and had an MOT, even though it isn't 3 years old yet.

    Heating not working

picked up my ZS on Saturday. I've been experimenting with all the settings, etc., while sitting in the car. It got a bit cold, so I tried to warm up the cab, but all I got was cool air. Had the start button on and put the temperature up to max, but nothing but cool air, even left it for about 15...

What should be in the boot?

I'm bidding on one now, plenty of new ones for under £70, but I'd like to get an MG one just because I think they would be of a higher quality. Thanks for the link, I'll put an offer in if I get outbid.

What should be in the boot?

I have an inflatable doll already, but I keep it in the passenger seat ;)

What should be in the boot?

Type 2, but I need a granny charger; I don't have a proper charger yet, and I probably won't get one until the new year.

What should be in the boot?

Hi all, Just had a test drive in a 2023 low-mileage ZS, when I had a look in the boot there was only a charging cable, nothing else. I know that there isn't a spare tyre, but I thought there should at least be a jack and a tyre repair kit; there were cutouts as if something should go there...

Thanks, That's a shame, I was looking forward to using it.

Why little or no regen? Is it because the ACC will brake rather than use the regen when going over the set speed? ie, going downhill. Would turning the regen to max change this ?

That's good to know, one of my regular trips is 250 miles, so possibly I could do this without needing a public charger. I'll be very happy if I can get those sorts of miles out of it. I know I might (will) have to drive a little slower though.

I'm buying the long range which I believe will do around 180 miles in winter, although I've heard that it could be as low as 160. Thanks for info though, and I'm glad you've had no problems. Can I ask how much the service cost is likely to be? I've heard so many different stories about being...

Yes, I'll ask the questions and get it in writing. I've also copied the Autotrader ad, which states full service history. I know they do a lot of motability stuff, so I'm assuming that the owner has gone into a home or has passed away, but I'll be asking the question. Not seeing negativity...
