Annoyingly I did it at work, so will have to wait until I am home to give it a go. I can get home as it detects the key when in the backup position, just won't work when it is not there! Thanks

I just bought my car from MG Chorley m, they are part of the Chorley group but actually the garage in Chorley. (second attempt after using perrys Preston first - avoid by all costs) They were very helpful and very knowledgeable. Would recommend them and will be using them for servicing myself
