Here's confirmation that the UK MGS6 does not have a heat pump I took a photo of the sticker of the unit behind the dash and ran it through Google Translate, its a PTC heater control unit. However it does have HV orange cables running to it so it's not a 12V unit and wont drain the 12V battery...

Theres a fuse box under the bonnet too according to the manual, but I dont know it thats the same concept too (permanent 12v) and anyway that would mean going through the front bulkhead with the wiring. Im going to see if the dash cam auto powers down if the 12v supply drops to a certain level...

Good question, not sure yet, still some testing to do. The nut at the red arrow in the pic is live all the time, so I guess I thats the +12v input for all of these fuses, that means they are all permanently powered and not controlled by the "Ready" state. The nut at the green arrow is a good...

I had a play in the boot this morning, took the styrofoam out and left the fibreboard flooring out to then tried listening from the drivers seat again. Only a mild improvement so not worth it. Best improvement was to max the 80hz and 75% on the 500hz slider, then min on the highest frequency...

Love our new MGS6😍, its a great car with some great new functionality like the two programmable star buttons, the 3 memory seat positions and the Custom Pilot switch available on the pull down menu. However, It would be perfect if we could go just one stage further and have a software update...

On my ZSEV I could bind the iSmart app for both myself and the wife (2 separate smartphones), however the S6 wants me to unbind the first user (me) before allowing me to bind a second user. What have others done? Edit: Fixed it, just send an invite to the second person from the iSmart app

Picked up our MGS6 Trophy LR today, love this car 😎. Had ZSEV LR for the last 4 yrs and that was great until I saw the 6 hiding in the showroom last week. Love how big it is for the money.

Theres a warning in the manual saying that ACC, Lane Keeping and Auto Emergency Braking may not work correctly if something is plugged into the OBD port.

I notice the EU version of the MGS6 has a heat pump according to the official MG EU tech specs, but the MG UK spec doesn't mention if its got a heat pump or not. I pick mine up in a couple of days (Trophy LR) but dont know how to tell physically anyway.
