I haven’t tried fast charging yet. In fact tonight will be its first charge and that will be at home on a single phase 7 kW charger. My old Trophy was capable of 3 phase charging at 11 kw but 3 phase is not common in the UK. Here, the new Premium is single phase /7 kw.
I bought one of the very first MG4 Trophies at the end of 2022. Being a first generation car it had the oil leak, loose under tray, dodgy software, locking in problem, Bluetooth issues , over sensitive window switches and a truly awful touchscreen. Software updates improved some things and...
The Tesla charger at Haigh is an open charger and about 1 mile from the M1 a bit south of Wakefield. And as Gomev said, the Leeds Tesla charger is open but may get busy during the day.
September is a long way off so suggest you check the Tesla app nearer the time as their charger’s...
A head's up that as this is a brand new car it is not yet showing on all insurance databases. I was hitherto with AA insurance and they checked with their 11 brokers but non were able to cover my new MG4 Premium.
I did get insurance via Uswitch / Admiral so apart from extra hassle it's not...
Both Dees of Croydon and Wilson’s in Epsom had MG4 Premiums to view last week. Not sure if they were for showroom or test drive as they had only just been delivered earlier in the day.

Long Range 22578
Extended Range 24978
X Power 25778
Happy haggling (or join an obscure football club supporters club)

I have been quoted £22578 for the new Long Range MG4. I paid £33k for my Trophy 3 years ago!
To qualify for the MG Affinity scheme you need to fall into one of these categories. (Note MG Owners Club members need to have held...
Picking up on some of the points above :
No the fee will not give you the right to park in front of your house. And in London there’s no neighbourly agreement to only park in front of your house - it’s a free for all. I can foresee a lot of anxious curtain twitching if the spot is full - is it...
Wandsworth Council is beginning a scheme to make it easier and cheaper to run charging cables in channels across pavements. There will be a £100 non refundable application fee. If agreed the installation will cost £250 and there will be a renewable licence fee of £150 for three years...
I think it’s both hardware and software. If I press an icon when travelling at 65 mph I expect it to work first time. Sadly the alternative of using voice control is very flaky too.
