The matt finish is a clear coat of sorts. Do NOT attempt to polish it, as you will take away the textured finish that creates the matt effect.

You'd be doing well to achieve that in the city. No chance on free/highways unless, as Decrep says, you're going downhill.

To complete the anecdote, my most recent charge to 100% showed only 413km expected range with A/C on and NORMAL mode (about 15km down from the previous full tank). I noticed up to 29 kWh usage in the first couple of kilometres travelled, before it started to drop down to expected levels.

There is a business down the road from my work that has an "EV Only" section of parking. It tends to be filled with Toyota HEVs and Mitsubishi PHEVs.:LOL:

How do you attach them? There's something on the DOT website about voiding the plate warranty if you damage it, but I presume you can't just double sided tape the tag as that isn"t "securely enough".

The most I've consumed was driving to Northam during the middle of winter, used about 36% over 100km, but that's uphill as you know*. Generally, I'm around 14-15, but over the last month I've been 12.5 to 13.5, depending on whether I'm using AC or not. * Used 30% on the return journey.

Mine is a 51 kWh model, though.:D

278 miles, I believe. It dropped to 428 when I put the A/C on, then back to 408 in NORMAL mode, which is how Iusually run it. In winter, it was down around 360-370km, and that felt fairly accurate. Lop another 10% off for highway driving (steady 110kph).

ECO mode, no A/C, suburban driving, mild temperatures. I wouldn't expect to actually get this mileage.

Do you have Continentals on the base model in the UK?

I take it a "hose pipe" is just a garden hose, something connected to your tap? There is no actual pipe involved?
