Not seen any negative numbers!
There is an audible clunk from the back axle after a period of time - this is also when the motor stops working as a parking brake and the power drain drops a bit.
Autohold indication goes green prior to this though and even if I manually apply it the car still...
I have that sort of behaviour on both cars but only when the battery is fully charged to 100% and it soon stops. Usually run the car in ECO mode as default but have also been using the 1 pedal (which isn't available above 90% SoC or so).
It's odd they keep messing with it as the car can...
Once I noticed it I started more testing, ie the different modes as I was in ECO at the time. I know the steering wheel angle can also limit power delivery as part of the stability control system so wanted to rule that out too.
It was long enough that I was able to keep feeding in throttle...
Replaced my 'Mk 1' Trophy (no rear wiper etc) car with a 'Mk 2' that has the rear wiper, one pedal drive etc a few months back but on a longer trip yesterday identified some odd behaviour regarding throttle pedal response.
On slowing down on approach to various roundabouts and seeing I could...
Just let it do its thing, might see a kWh in 'consumer use' over a full battery but I'll take the comfort.
Remote climate is a great quality of life improvement, also use it in winter to defrost the car so I can just get in and go.
Ideal battery temperature is around 25 degrees C for optimal...
I'll have a look this morning - its SWI168, does feel a bit 'retro' compared to R59 in my older car, nothing I can really put my finger on specifically.
Gets some sun and some shade as it's parked on the drive.
I've had the condensation thing a little but parking the car in UK weather conditions shouldn't result in cracked light clusters when it less than 2 years old!
Goes in this week to get them changed.
Balloon payment on my existing 22 plate Trophy was coming up so opted to top a little bit for a newer Trophy to reset the mileage etc.
Delivered today and as somewhat expected the infotainment and, I suspect, other software updates have not been applied. Back to R40 instead of R59 on my...
Got an answer back from the dealers it went up to MG and they've agreed to a warranty repair replacement as of last Tuesday.
Annoyingly a bloody Tesco's van rear ended the car on the previous Saturday and despite a very broken bumper, boot and light bar it hasn't touched the light clusters.
MG...
Mine's a 23 plate - sent images to the dealer today and see what they say.
It's definitely stress cracking and looks like it's propagating from the bond of the inner and outer sections to me.
Thanks for all the responses - really tempted to replace it as it's not a huge amount over the balloon PCP payment that was already due.
That gets me a brand new car, with some extra features plus removal of the various 'niggles' that are on the one I do have (odd stone chips, that rear light...
The type of plastic they've selected for the outer, transparent section is very brittle, gives good clarity and fairly scratch resistant as the trade off.
Lot of these cars are probably on company car or lease schemes and many folks don't wash their cars opting for the car wash services that...
Coming up towards the end of the 2 year PCP bubble on an early trophy.
Was planning on just buying the car and have the funds to do so but the GFV is already a loss leader by about £3k.
But dealer has some pre-registered stock up for the GFV plus a other £4k - that gets me a car with delivery...
Suspect they will keep cracking over time and the origin point does look like it starts where the plastic is joined to the rear housing for the cluster.
Could be condensation freezing a little and stressing the assembly - wouldn't be at all surprised if others were like this but folks haven't...
